A college bus carrying students collided with a car and three two-wheelers at Thiblapadavu under the jurisdiction of the Konaje police station on the evening of Monday, March 17. The bus, which was traveling from Inoli to Mangaluru, lost control near Thiblapadavu and crashed into several vehicles parked along the roadside. Thankfully, no one was in the parked vehicles at the time, preventing any major injuries.
Earlier, a bike had skidded in the same area, injuring the rider, who was later taken to the hospital. As onlookers gathered at the site of the earlier crash, they parked their vehicles along the roadside. It was then that the college bus lost control, causing a chain collision that involved a car and two motorcycles.
Mangaluru South Traffic Police arrived promptly and have initiated an investigation into the incident.
