Mangaluru: In a commendable display of integrity, Chandrashekhar Galappagol, an employee at the fourth JMFC court, ensured a lost gold bracelet found its way back to its owner.
Intern lawyer Dilnaz misplaced her gold bracelet, valued at over ₹60,000, within the court premises on March 3. Despite searching the area and nearby streets, she was unable to recover it. Fortunately, Chandrashekhar discovered the ornament and immediately submitted it to the court’s main office, requesting its rightful return.
To spread the word, the information was shared in WhatsApp groups. Senior advocate Ibrahim, under whom Dilnaz is interning, informed her about the recovery. On Thursday, Chandrashekhar personally returned the bracelet to her at the court, earning widespread appreciation for his honesty.
His selfless gesture highlights the importance of integrity and trust in society.
