Mangaluru: In a significant step towards strengthening public healthcare infrastructure, ECG machines were handed over to the District Health Office, Dakshina Kannada, under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of EGDK India Private Limited on March 31, 2026.

The formal handover ceremony was held at the office of the District Health Officer, marking a collaborative effort to enhance diagnostic capabilities in government healthcare facilities across the district.

CSR initiative strengthens public health services

Shri Anand Fernandes, Chief Executive Officer of EGDK India Private Limited, symbolically handed over the ECG machines to Dr. H. R. Thimmaiah, District Health and Family Welfare Officer, Dakshina Kannada.

The initiative aims to improve early detection and timely treatment of cardiac conditions by equipping public health centres with essential diagnostic tools.

The programme was implemented by Utkarsh, which played a key role in facilitating and coordinating the initiative.
