Mangaluru: Expert Pre-University College, under the banner of Expert Group of Educational Institutions, Kodial Bail, will host a science festival titled Xcelerate 2025 on October 18, 2025, aimed at sparking scientific curiosity among students of classes 8, 9, and 10.
The fest, open to schools in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, will feature four flagship events — X-Quiz It (Science Quiz), X-Estate (AI Workshop), X-Zbit (Science Model Making Competition), and X-Site (Interactive Demo). Each school can field eight participants, grouped into four teams of two.
Online registration is mandatory via xcelerate.expertedu.co.in by the 20th. Only pre-registered teams will be eligible. Winners in each category will receive first and second prizes, while the top-scoring school will bag the prestigious overall championship trophy. All participants will receive certificates.
Known for pioneering innovative teaching methods, the Expert Group is hosting this science fest for the first time. The event promises to blend competition with learning, encouraging students to explore how science applies in real-world contexts.
“Excelerate is designed to ignite young minds, offering them a platform to engage with science in an exciting, hands-on way,” said organizers Narendra Nayak, Ushaprabha, and Ankush Nayak at a press conference.
