Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal College of Dental Science, KMC Hospital Attavar, and Durga Sanjeevani Manipal Hospital came together to organize a felicitation ceremony for the meritorious children of their employees on Saturday, July 6, at the Marena Sports Complex in Attavar.
The event, graced by Chief Guest Capt Brijesh Chowta, MP of Dakshina Kannada, emphasized the importance of recognizing academic excellence among students. Capt Chowta expressed his delight in engaging with students, acknowledging their dedication and the challenges they face. He highlighted the significance of initiatives like this, which reflect KMC Institute’s commitment to supporting its staff members’ families. Capt Chowta also shared insights into his political journey, emphasizing his passion for youth empowerment and nation-building.
Dr B Unnikrishnan, Dean of KMC, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, setting the stage for the ceremony. Capt Brijesh Chowta personally honored the students who had achieved outstanding academic results, underscoring their achievements.
