Panic broke out at the KSRTC bus stand on Wednesday morning when smoke and flames were spotted in a bus. The bus, which was set to travel from Sullia town to Koyanadu, suddenly emitted smoke, and shortly thereafter, a fire erupted.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit. Upon noticing the smoke, passengers were swiftly evacuated from the bus. Fire service personnel were dispatched to the scene and quickly managed to extinguish the flames.
