Jayarama Moolya, a 45-year-old daily wage worker with the forest department, tragically passed away during his night duty at the office in B C Road. A resident of Veerakamba village, he had served the department for 30 years.
On November 29, Jayarama informed his colleagues about feeling dizzy. After they departed, he was left alone in the office. It is suspected that he collapsed at his desk due to a cardiac arrest while trying to rest.
The next morning, at around 6:30 am, the office driver noticed the door was still closed. Upon peering through a window, he found Jayarama slumped over the table. After breaking the door latch, the driver found him unresponsive. He was rushed to the government hospital, where doctors confirmed his death on arrival.
Jayarama is survived by his wife, two brothers, and a sister, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to his work.
