Fr. Michael L. Santhumayor, the principal and campus director of Milagres College, Mangaluru, has achieved a significant academic milestone by being awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in management from Srinivas University, Mangaluru. His doctoral research focused on ‘Dimensions of Work Engagement and Its Impact on Organisational Citizenship Behaviour – A Study among the College Teachers of Dakshina Kannada District’. The degree was conferred on June 28, marking the culmination of his rigorous academic journey.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Carmelita Goveas, a distinguished research professor at Srinivas University, Fr. Santhumayor conducted an in-depth study exploring the relationship between work engagement levels and organizational citizenship behavior among college teachers in the Dakshina Kannada district.
