The eagerly awaited eighth edition of the Mangaluru Kambala is set to enthrall audiences at Goldfinch City. The event will kick off on December 28 at 8:30 am and conclude the next day. Dakshina Kannada MP Captain Brijesh Chowta shared the details in a press meet, ensuring an unforgettable celebration of this cherished coastal tradition.
Organized by the Mangaluru Kambala Committee, the event will be chaired by Dr. K Prakash Shetty, head of the MRG Group, who has consistently supported Kambala for the past seven editions. A highlight of the first evening, scheduled for 6 pm, is a special cultural presentation, with the award ceremony slated for 8 am on December 29.
To engage young minds, a “Colour Koota” drawing competition will be held for children aged six and above. This activity aims to instill an appreciation for Tulunadu’s cultural roots. Participants will be rewarded with keepsakes and exciting prizes.
Digital enthusiasts can join the Reels and Photography contest, capturing the energy and essence of Kambala. The evening will also honor outstanding personalities from various domains, including education, sports, and arts.
