In a remarkable act of humanity, bus workers in the coastal area have earned widespread appreciation for their quick-thinking and selflessness. While on the usual 13F route via Kuloor, the Krishna Prasad bus was traveling with passengers, including a college student who suddenly showed signs of a heart attack.
Without hesitation, the bus driver, Gajendra Kundar, and the conductor, Mahesh Poojary Suresh, transformed the bus into an emergency vehicle. They activated the siren and covered a distance of 6 kilometers in just 6 minutes, heading straight to Father Muller Hospital in Kankanady.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, they did not wait for any permissions and drove directly into the hospital premises, rushing the student to the casualty ward in record time, thus saving his life. This swift and decisive action left the public in awe and earned them widespread acclaim.
Once again, the bus drivers and conductors in the coastal region have proven themselves to be embodiments of humanity and compassion.
