In response to heavy rainfall forecasted by the Indian Meteorological Department and the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre, the Mangaluru Taluk Disaster Management Authority has declared a holiday on Monday, July 8, for all Anganwadis, government, aided, and private primary and high schools, as well as pre-university colleges (up to 12th grade) in Mangaluru taluk.
