Mangaluru: On 15th October 2026, we are hosting HYDGEN Innovation Day 2026 at the HYDGEN Facility at Ganjimutt, Mangalore, our new manufacturing site with 20 MW of annual production capacity.
India has shown it can build electrolysers. The harder part now is building them in large numbers, with the same quality every time and at a price that makes sense to the people running a plant. Many manufacturers in lab-grown diamonds, specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals and semiconductors still buy hydrogen in cylinders and tube trailers. For them, 70–85% of what they pay goes on compression, transport and storage, not on the hydrogen itself, and one late truck can stop a production line.
Making hydrogen on site, at the plant that uses it, takes that cost out. Our job is to manufacture these systems at the scale Indian industry needs, and that is what we built at our HYDGEN Facility, Ganjimutt, Mangalore.
The day starts with a tour of HYDGEN Facility at Ganjimutt, Mangalore. Guests will walk through stack assembly, system integration, testing and hydrogen quality checks, all on the same site. We will then unveil our 250 kW AEM and PEM electrolysers, built for plants that need more hydrogen every day, and designed, assembled and tested in Mangalore.
Dr. Ashish Lele, Director, CSIR–National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, will give the keynote address on how hydrogen technologies in India move from the lab into commercial use. Expert talks and panel discussions follow, covering how membrane electrolysers go from pilot units to multi-MW plants, where on-site hydrogen is already paying off for industry, and how to finance lower hydrogen costs.
We are glad to have with us as chief guests Shri M. B. Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka; Shri U. T. Khader, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka; Captain Brijesh Chowta, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha; and Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty, Hon’ble MLA, Mangalore City North. Policymakers, government officials, researchers, academics, investors and entrepreneurs from across India will also join us.
HYDGEN started with one aim: give industries hydrogen they can rely on, at a cost they can plan around. The Ganjimutt facility lets us do that for more customers, with larger systems and a local base of component suppliers here in Mangalore, serving customers in India and abroad.
To our friends in the press, we would be glad to have you with us. Come and see the facility, speak with our team and our guests, and help us tell the story of hydrogen as a dependable industrial supply, made in India.
We look forward to seeing you on 15th October 2026 at the HYDGEN Facility at Ganjimutt, Mangalore.
