Mangaluru: Akshara House of Children celebrated its Investiture Ceremony 2026, themed as Little Leaders’ Day, at AJ Grand Elite, Yekkur, on August 20 with enthusiasm and pride. Dr Kavita K R, Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Young students take centre stage
The programme was conducted entirely by the pre-schoolers, giving the young participants an opportunity to demonstrate their confidence, talent and emerging leadership skills.
The celebrations began with a spirited marching band welcoming the chief guest. This was followed by a prayer song presented by the choir and a vibrant welcome dance that added to the festive atmosphere.
The welcome address and introduction of the chief guest preceded the ceremonial procession, during which the young students marched with joy and dignity.
A celebration of confidence and leadership
The investiture ceremony provided the children with a meaningful platform to participate actively in a formal school event. Their involvement in the proceedings reflected the confidence and enthusiasm encouraged through the programme.
The presence of Dr Kavita K R added significance to the occasion, as the children took their first steps towards understanding responsibility, participation and leadership.
Little Leaders’ Day was thus not merely a ceremonial gathering but a celebration of the abilities of young learners, giving them an opportunity to shine before their teachers, families and guests.
