In a recently held installation ceremony for the Port Town Advanced Toastmasters Club (PTAT), TM Anu Sharma was installed as president by Area Director TM Sophia Zacharias.
The program, woven around the theme of Shravan, was presided over by the outgoing president Malini Hebbar, DTM in the presence of Chief Guest Dr Ravishankar Rao; TM District 121 Director Savitha Salian, DTM; Division F Director Jyothika Shetty, DTM; Area F4 Director TM Sophia Zacharias; President-Elect TM Anu Sharma and VPEd. TM Sangeeta Fernandes.
Prof Dr Ravishankar Rao threw light on different meanings and dimensions of Shravan in a profoundly moving and impactful address.
District Director Savitha Salian, Outgoing President Malini Hebbar and Mr. Dewabrat Mandal, the Executive Chef of Ocean Pearl, Kodialbail were felicitated.
DVD Jyothika Shetty inducted the new members Kanchan Ruchi Sharma and Vidya Attavar.
The new team comprising TM Anu Sharma (President), TM Sangeeta Fernandes (Vice President Education), TM Malini Mukund (Vice President Membership), TM Khushboo Bansal (Vice President Public Relations), Vidya Shenoy, DTM (Secretary), TM Frenil D’Souza (Treasurer), TM Davin Pinto (Sergeant-at-Arms) was felicitated by Charter President Dr C K Ballal, DTM; Mr Amith Sharma, newly-installed president Anu Sharma’s husband and Office Bearers of Toastmasters’ Movement in Division F.
