Mangaluru: The lyrical video of ‘Malligedha Saal Saal’, a new Tulu song from the upcoming film Toss, has been released exclusively on the official YouTube channel of Anand Audio, adding to the anticipation surrounding the upcoming Tulu movie.

The song features actor Arjun Kapikad and other members of the cast and has been sung by Abhishek M R. The lyrics have been written by Dr Devdas Kapikad, who is also credited with the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film.

Kadri Manikanth has composed, arranged and produced the music for the song, bringing together a team of musicians and technicians for the track.

Arjun Kapikad features in new Tulu song

‘Malligedha Saal Saal’ features Arjun Kapikad along with other performers from Toss. The lyrical video gives audiences an early glimpse into the musical flavour of the film while highlighting the song’s lyrical and visual presentation.

Abhishek M R has lent his voice to the track, while Dr Devdas Kapikad has penned the lyrics. Kadri Manikanth has handled the composition, arrangement and music production.

The musical team also includes Sagar Gururaj, who has arranged the strings, while Kalyan Chakravarthy has contributed the rhythm. Neethu Ninaad has played the flute and Charan Rao has handled the guitar portions.

The vocals were recorded at Oktave Studio in Bengaluru, with Adil Nadaf serving as the recording engineer. The guitars were recorded at Kadriskeys Studio in Bengaluru.

Extensive technical team behind the song

R Babu Rasheed has worked as the music coordinator, while Shravan Acharya has served as project assistant. K Dhanashekar has handled the mixing and mastering of the track.

‘Toss’ brings together Tulu cinema talents

Toss is directed by Arjun Dev and produced by Sagar Poojary under the banner of P&Y World Tour LLP. Dr Devdas Kapikad has written the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics.

Arjun Dev and Vikram Devadiga are credited as co-writers. Joel Shaman D’Souza is the cinematographer, while Yashwin K Shettigar is the editor.

Shaneel Gautham serves as the creative head. Vikram Devadiga, Yashanth Kalladka and Rakesh BJ are the associate directors, while Sourav Ram, Sujith Vinod, Sunil Ashoknagara and Ashish Rao are working as assistant directors.

The production has also brought together a large technical team working across various departments.

Anup Sagar is the stylist, while Aman Prakyath is among the camera assistants. The action sequences have been handled by Dhilip M Raj, Arjun Raj and Tiger Shiva.

Naveen Rai Kerebail is in charge of post-production, with N Sandeep Shetty serving as executive producer. Choreography has been handled by Deekshith Kumar, Tejas Poojary and Elton Jeff.

Shabareesh Kabbinale and Santhosh Acharya are the production managers. Maya Di Yara has handled makeup, while Supreeth BK is responsible for the visual effects.

Abhijeeth Kumar has handled still photography and Deepak Hanson Pinto has taken care of dubbing.
