Mangaluru: A complaint has been lodged at the Kavoor police station alleging that a man demolished the compound wall of a house in Kunjathbail using a JCB excavator, even as a civil dispute concerning the property is pending before a court.
The complaint was filed by the house owner, Liji Mol, who alleged that a person identified as Dayananda brought down the compound wall of her property on Friday.
According to the complaint, the property is already the subject of an ongoing civil dispute and the matter is currently sub-judice, with legal proceedings pending before the court.
Wall allegedly demolished using JCB
Liji Mol has alleged that Dayananda arrived at the property and used a JCB excavator to demolish the compound wall.
She claimed that the alleged act took place while the ownership-related dispute concerning the site was still being considered through legal proceedings.
The demolition allegedly caused financial loss to the house owner, who has sought police intervention in connection with the incident.
The complaint has brought the alleged property-related action to the attention of the police at a time when the dispute remains under judicial consideration.
