Police have arrested Mohammad Abdul Yan, 27, from Badriya Nagar, Ullal, who had been evading court appearances for over a year. Yan is accused in 24 criminal cases across multiple police station jurisdictions, including Konaje, Ullal, Kadaba, Barke, Uppinangady, Puttur, and Bantwal.
Yan was apprehended in Manjeshwar following a tip-off. The operation was conducted by Konaje police, led by Inspector Rajendra B, with assistance from SI Nagaraj S and officers HC Mohammad Sharif and PC Santosh. He has been remanded to judicial custody.
