At Mangaluru Blue 2025, three innovative ventures from the coastal districts of India emerged victorious following a competitive pitching session. The winning startups included Canara Farms by Gaurav Shetty, Coachbuddy AI by Srikanth Shenoy, and Mashaa Radpro Pvt Ltd by Dr. Fahizah and Safana. These ventures stood out for their remarkable adaptability, groundbreaking solutions, and clear strategic vision, surpassing other participants in the competition.
Mangaluru Blue 2025 is a startup pitching event where selected startups present their ideas to a panel of industry leaders, venture capitalists, and angel investors. The event offers an exceptional platform for startups to secure funding, gain visibility, and network with key players in the startup ecosystem. Hosted annually by the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), in collaboration with TiE Mangaluru and wrkwrk, the event has become a highlight for entrepreneurial talent in the region.
Akhilesh Bhat from TiE Mangaluru mentioned that out of numerous applications, the top 10 companies were chosen to present in the finals, where they received pitching support from TiE Mangaluru through mock pitch sessions. The top three winners were awarded recognition, valuable networking opportunities with investors, and three months of free premium co-working space at wrkwrk.
Among the winning ventures, Coachbuddy AI, founded by Srikanth Shenoy, specializes in AI-powered sports training solutions, such as ShuttlePro and TennisPro, which simulate professional-level opponents. Mashaa Radpro Pvt Ltd, co-founded by Dr. Riaz Abdulla and Safana Mamunji, provides radiation protection shields for oral cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy. Meanwhile, Canara Farms, founded by Gaurav Shetty, offers 100% natural, farm-fresh milk and dairy products, free from powders, preservatives, and artificial processing, and is trusted by over 700 households.
Rohith Bhat, Silicon Beach Program Founding Member, and founder of wrkwrk, 99Games, and Robosoft, emphasized that these startups are a testament to the growing strength of the Mangaluru startup ecosystem, which continues to thrive with ambitious founders and innovative ideas.
