Nigel Albuquerque, the founder-director of Mangaluru Civic Group, has received widespread praise for his honesty after returning a bag containing Rs 1.5 lac to its rightful owner. The cash bag, which was found near Lalbagh without any identification documents, was initially discovered by Albuquerque.
Rather than keeping the money, Nigel took the initiative to conduct his own investigation to find the owner. After confirming the bag’s rightful claimant, he handed over the cash with the help of the Barke police.
The citizens of Mangaluru have applauded Nigel Albuquerque for his integrity, recognizing his commendable actions as a model of honesty and civic responsibility.
