Mangaluru: Harish, a dedicated police officer from Konkanady Police Station, lost his battle for life on Sunday at A J Hospital, days after sustaining critical injuries in a road accident near Sullia.
Hailing from Gayanahalli village in K R Nagar taluk, Mysuru district, Harish met with an unfortunate accident on Wednesday. Despite receiving intensive medical care, he could not recover from the severe injuries he suffered in the mishap.
The accident occurred while he was traveling near Sullia, leaving him in a critical condition. He was promptly rushed to the hospital, where doctors tried their best to stabilize him. However, despite their relentless efforts, he succumbed to his injuries after fighting for survival for several days.
His untimely demise has deeply shocked and saddened his colleagues, friends, and family members. Fellow police personnel and well-wishers are mourning the loss of a committed officer who served the force with dedication.
Harish’s passing is a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life and the need for road safety awareness. His contribution to the police department will always be remembered with respect.
