With a shared passion for empowering young minds, Melita D’Souza and Matilda D’Souza of Mangaluru have launched the Confident Communicators Workshop, a unique initiative aimed at helping children develop confidence, communication skills and leadership qualities from an early age.

The workshop, open to children aged 10 years and above, has been carefully designed by the Mangaluru-based trainers to provide a supportive space where children can learn to express themselves confidently while enjoying the learning process.

Melita and Matilda’s vision for young communicators

For Melita and Matilda, communication is more than just speaking well. They believe it is about building self-belief, developing leadership skills and helping children find their own voice.

Drawing on their experience in mentoring and personality development, the duo has created sessions that encourage children to step out of their comfort zones and communicate with confidence.

“Our aim is to help children overcome stage fear, develop clarity in expression and grow into confident individuals who are not afraid to share their ideas,” the trainers said.

Interactive learning with practical activities

The workshop features a range of engaging activities including public speaking, presentations, emceeing, debates, skits, role-play, storytelling, team-building exercises and interactive games.

Each session is designed to strengthen confidence, creativity, critical thinking and interpersonal skills while ensuring that learning remains enjoyable and meaningful.

To provide personalised attention and guidance, the organisers have limited the number of participants in each batch.
