The robbery occurred around 3:30 AM at the residence of Karishma, located on Kotekani 1st Cross under the jurisdiction of Urva Police Station. The victims, Victor Mendonsa (71) and Patricia Mendonsa (60), were the only ones present in the house, as their two children are currently abroad.
