Mangaluru: The Women of Mangalore Organisation, in collaboration with City Centre and Motisham Builders, hosted a vibrant Talent Contest titled “Talent Parbha” on 9 and 10 November 2024 at City Centre, Mangaluru. The event brought together performers from Mangaluru and nearby regions, with categories for both solo and group talents.
The contest, coordinated by Dr. Malini Hebbar and envisioned by Sabrina Britto and Divya D’Souza, aimed to spotlight Mangaluru’s diverse talents and promote the city’s cultural richness. Cine actor Siddharth Shetty of Thudar fame was the guest of honour, distributing cash prizes totaling Rs. 55,000 to the winners, while all participants received appreciation prizes worth Rs. 25,000.
Notable judges included Savithri Rao, Mohanraj, Gauri Suhas Rao, Raveena, and Shane Pereira. The event was further supported by prominent personalities such as Dr. Akhter Hussain, Mr. Amith Prabhu, and Savitha Shetty. Prize sponsors included Sabrina Britto Hougaard, Mr. Joe Albuquerque, and Yenepoya University, among others.
