In a dramatic incident on the Gurupura bridge in Mangaluru, a young man, Sandeep from Kaikambam, attempted to end his life along with his two-year-old son following a family dispute. The incident occurred when Sandeep, appearing distressed, approached the edge of the bridge with the child in his arms.

Alert motorists quickly intervened, preventing him from jumping off the bridge. In an intense moment, they managed to pull him back to safety, after which a few onlookers reportedly reprimanded him.
