In Mangaluru, policemen from Jeppinamogaru Police Station successfully rescued a man who fell into a roadside stream near Pumpwell. The incident occurred when the man, under the influence of alcohol, lost his balance and stumbled into the fast-moving waters.
Mangaluru has been experiencing heavy rains, leading to overflowing streams and swift currents. Eyewitnesses reported that the man was in danger of being swept away if not for the quick and brave actions of the police.
Head Constable Thippeswamy and Constable Wilson Fernandes led the rescue effort. Battling against the force of the water, they managed to bring the man to safety, demonstrating commendable bravery and quick thinking.
