Mangaluru: MCC Bank inaugurated its newly renovated Kankanady Branch at the Emporium Commercial Complex, Kankanady Pumpwell Road, on 4 December 2025. The refurbished premises were inaugurated by Mr Michael D’Souza, noted NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist, while Rev. Fr Faustine Lobo, Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, blessed the premises.

The event was presided over by Sahakara Ratna Mr Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank, in the presence of distinguished guests including Fr J. B. Crasta, Sr Cynthia D’Souza, and Mr Leo Rodrigues.
Chairman highlights growth, digitalisation, and future planning
In his inaugural address, Chairman Mr Anil Lobo emphasised that the renovation aligns with the bank’s vision of modernisation and customer convenience. He noted that all 16 existing branches have been upgraded with digital facilities, ensuring customers have access to seamless services.
He added that MCC Bank has grown from 16 branches to 21 under the current management and plans to open four more branches in the next financial year at Deralakatte, Katapadi, Padil, and either Mudipu or Vamanjoor. He credited customer support and financial discipline for the bank meeting all RBI parameters since 2018.

Chief Guest Mr Michael D’Souza praised MCC Bank’s leadership for its customer-first approach, steady financial growth, and commitment to community welfare. He highlighted the bank’s improved sector-wise performance and encouraged continued strong lending practices.
Fr J. B. Crasta lauded the bank for its trustworthy service and customer care, while Mr Leo Rodrigues congratulated the leadership team for steering the bank toward new heights. Rev. Fr Faustine Lobo emphasised the importance of service, reminding that growth must be inclusive of customers and the wider community.
