Mangaluru – Morarji Desai Pre-University Residential College, Balnadu, Puttur taluk, under the Social Welfare Department of Dakshina Kannada district, has opened applications for First PUC Science admissions for the academic year 2025-26.
The college offers PCMB and PCMC combinations, with 40 seats each. Selection will be based on SSLC marks and applicable government reservation policies. Only students who have successfully cleared the 2024-25 SSLC annual examination are eligible to apply.
Selected students will receive free food, accommodation, textbooks, uniforms, and other learning materials, with no tuition fees.
For eligibility, the parental income limit is set at Rs 2.5 lakh for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Category-1 candidates, and Rs 1 lakh for Other Backward Classes.
The last date to submit applications is August 25. A merit list will be prepared according to SSLC marks, factoring in category, gender, and subject combination preferences.
