Mangaluru, December 21, 2024: Mount Carmel Central School hosted its 16th Kindergarten Annual Day, themed “The Quest”, in a grand celebration at the school auditorium. The event was a delightful showcase of the talent, innocence, and vibrancy of the school’s youngest learners, who brought joy and cheer to the occasion.

A Day of Celebration and Joy

The programme began with a soulful prayer dance that set a joyful and reverent tone for the event. The tiny tots extended a warm welcome to the audience with a delightful dance. Sister Melissa, the Principal, officially welcomed the gathering, including the Chief Guest, Dr Joyline Germine D’sa, Associate Professor at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management.

Showcasing Young Talent

The youngest stars, from pre-nursery and nursery, charmed the audience with their spirited performances. Their confidence and enthusiasm set the stage for an exciting cultural extravaganza. A creatively presented video showcased the year-long activities of the nursery and kindergarten students, serving as the annual report.

Inspiring Words from the Chief Guest

In her address, Dr Joyline Germine D’sa lauded the incredible talents of the students. She encouraged parents to reduce their children’s exposure to electronic gadgets and instead prioritize quality time, outdoor activities, and creativity through storytelling.

The LKG and UKG students brought the theme “The Quest” to life with heart-warming dialogues and dances, underscoring the values of friendship, kindness, and care. The festive Christmas play, a highlight of the event, brought the spirit of yuletide alive, leaving the audience captivated.

The event was expertly emceed by students Saloni, Lionel, Inayah, Haniel, Arya, Lihan, Misha, Saharsh, Adhya, and Bhavik, while Rithul, Shivansh, and Calida delivered the vote of thanks.
