Mangaluru: The Mangalore Productivity Council (MPIC) and the Rotary Club of Mangalore Central have jointly organized a one-day workshop, “Udamdinle Kanti – MSME Smart Up Conference 2025”, scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Red Conference Hall, Opposite Taj Vivanta Hotel, Old DC Office Compound, Old Port Road, Mangaluru.
Addressing the press, C.A. S.S. Nayaka, one of the organizers, informed that the official MSME Smart Up Conference 2025 Handbook (Bosher) was released ahead of the event.
The workshop is focused on promoting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and start-ups across Uttara Kannada, Udupi, and Dakshina Kannada districts, which have already contributed significantly to entrepreneurship, innovation, and employment generation in coastal Karnataka.
India currently has 7.34 crore registered MSMEs, providing jobs to over 26 crore people, contributing 30% to the GDP and 45% to national manufacturing output. With Karnataka being one of the most important hubs and India the third-largest start-up ecosystem in the world, coastal entrepreneurs and start-ups are playing a major role in driving growth.
The conference aims to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, policymakers, bankers, and stakeholders to discuss opportunities, government schemes, grants, and financial assistance available to MSMEs. The sessions will also cover e-commerce, healthcare, and emerging business trends.
The workshop will feature five special sessions led by experts, providing valuable insights in a simple and practical manner to benefit participants.
