Ishaara, renowned for crafting distinctive dining experiences, unveils “Mungaru Mangaluru”, an exclusive pop-up menu celebrating the vibrant culinary heritage of Mangalore. This special menu is curated by Chef Mohammad Ashiq, winner of MasterChef India Season 8, and is available from July 9, 2025, at Ishaara, located in Phoenix Mall of Asia, Hebbal, Bangalore.

The name Mungaru Mangaluru translates to “Monsoon Mangalore” in Konkani, and reflects a deeply personal and nostalgic food journey. The menu brings forth the spirit of the coastal region during the rainy season, offering a soulful collection of authentic Mangalorean dishes like Basale Southe Gassi, Kori Rotti, Kadale Gassi, Neer Dosa Prawn Taco, Balekayi Tawa Fry, and Ambe Upkari.

Chef Ashiq shares, “This menu is a tribute to the monsoon memories of my childhood in Mangalore. It blends my connection to the sea, my roots, and the emotions of home-cooked meals.”
