Mangaluru: The Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative (CAMPCO) Ltd. has announced the unanimous election of Sri S. R. Satishchandra as President and Sri Padmaraj Pattaje as Vice President for the term 2025–2030.

Experienced leadership at the helm

Sri S. R. Satishchandra, from Punacha in Bantwal Taluk, brings over 25 years of cooperative leadership experience. He previously served as CAMPCO President from 2015 to 2020 and was a Director in the immediate past term. He is widely regarded for his contributions to the cooperative and agricultural sectors.

Vice President with strong cooperative roots

Sri Padmaraj Pattaje, an agriculturist from Pattaje–Badiadka, Kasaragod, has long been active in the cooperative movement. He has served as a CAMPCO Director for two terms and now assumes the Vice Presidency for the current term. He also holds several key roles across various cooperative institutions.

Awaiting formal confirmation

CAMPCO has clarified that the election results will become official only after approval from the Cooperative Election Authority, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, New Delhi.
