Mangaluru: The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, has dismissed its former Registrar Ravindranath K. after a departmental inquiry established serious administrative misconduct, marking a significant disciplinary action by the premier institution.
The decision comes months after his suspension on September 12, 2025, which was initiated following directions from the Ministry of Education. The inquiry examined allegations of procedural irregularities and professional impropriety under the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964.
