M S Moodithaya, Vice Chancellor of Nitte (Deemed to be University), emphasized India’s potential to become a developed nation and a leading provider of intellectual property during the eleventh graduation day of St Agnes College, Mangaluru. Addressing the graduates on Saturday, Moodithaya urged them to pursue their strengths passionately and strive for global recognition.
Highlighting the importance of the three Cs—condition, competency, and character—Moodithaya encouraged graduates to focus on these aspects throughout their lives. He also reminded them to express gratitude towards their alma mater for shaping their personalities and their parents for their sacrifices.
Moodithaya concluded his speech by urging the graduates to fulfill their societal obligations and make meaningful contributions.
Sister Maria Shamita, Provincial Superior of Apostolic Carmel, Karnataka Province, presided over the event. She stressed the need for the graduates’ unique voices, innovative spirits, and compassionate outlooks. She provided them with three personal Cs: courage, creativity, and compassion.
Nancy Vaz, Controller of Examinations, presented the graduating class, which consisted of 520 students, including 89 postgraduates and 431 undergraduates, with 17 rank holders among them.
The event celebrated the accomplishments of the students and encouraged them to make significant contributions to society and the global community.
