Mangaluru: The Department of MBA, School of Business and Management, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), AIMIT Beeri, hosted the 8th International Conference ‘NOVATION 2025’ on April 25, spotlighting the theme “Innovations in Industry 5.0, 6.0 and Beyond: Developing Business Models for the Future.”

Sandesh J Cutinho Prabhu, Chief General Manager HR at MRPL, inaugurated the event as chief guest. In his address, he forecasted transformative shifts expected in the coming Industry 5.0 and 6.0 eras and emphasized the need to prepare human capital for future challenges. He proposed a Triple-A approach—Agility, Adaptability, and Alignment—as a blueprint for staying industry-ready.

The conference featured eminent keynote speakers:

  • Prof (Dr) David M Smith from State University of Albany, New York,

  • Dr Yatin from the Ministry of Finance, Mauritius, and

  • Dr Fr Ranjit George SJ, professor at Loyola College of Social Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram.

    • Dr Ronald Nazareth, Registrar, presided over the ceremony, and Dr (Fr) Kiran Coth SJ, Director of AIMIT, delivered a motivating address. Dr Rajani Suresh, Dean, School of Business and Management, welcomed the audience and outlined the goals of the conference.

    With over 60 research papers presented across diverse tracks, the conference served as a vibrant platform for dialogue among scholars, researchers, and students.
