Padua College of Commerce and Management, located in Nanthur, Mangaluru, earned five distinguished awards during the National Youth Day event organized by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) Mangalore University at University College, Hampankatta.
The awards were conferred by Vedavyas Kamath, MLA of Mangaluru North, in acknowledgment of the college’s significant contributions toward promoting the principles of Youth Red Cross.
The five awards presented were:
- Best YRC Unit Award at the District Level (Indian Red Cross Society)
- Best Programme Officer Award at the District Level – Prof. Roshan Vincy Santhumayor
- Best Performing YRC Unit Award at the Mangalore University Level
- Best Programme Officer Award at the Mangalore University Level – Prof. Roshan Vincy Santhumayor
- Best YRC Volunteer Award at the Mangalore University Level – Mohd Sinan (II BCom)
Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo, the principal of Padua College of Commerce and Management, accepted the awards on behalf of the institution.
This recognition emphasizes Padua College’s steadfast dedication to promoting social responsibility and youth participation through the Youth Red Cross initiatives.
