The Pandeshwar Police have arrested three individuals—Dayan, Afnan, and Salman—in connection with the abduction and brutal assault of three students from a private college. The incident, which took place near a mall in Pandeshwar on August 19, 2024, was reportedly fueled by anger stemming from a football match dispute at Nehru Maidan on August 14.
According to police reports, the accused abducted the three minor students, stripped them naked, and subjected them to a brutal assault. The attackers forced the victims to apologize and recorded the assault on their mobile phones. The footage was later shared on social media, bringing the incident to public attention.
Upon discovering the video, the Pandeshwar Police swiftly launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of Dayan, Afnan, and Salman, who have since been remanded to judicial custody. The police have confirmed that more arrests, including those of minors involved, are imminent.
