Mangaluru: Mangaluru witnessed its first-ever Plant Bingo, a unique community event that combined games, gardening and environmental awareness, drawing enthusiastic participation from plant lovers across the city.
Held on July 26, the event transformed a traditional game of bingo into an interactive experience centred around plants, sustainability and community bonding.
Green initiative draws enthusiastic response
The inaugural edition was hosted by Matharani Mathias, while Gyan Shetty served as the event’s plant expert, sharing practical gardening tips and guidance with participants throughout the programme.
The organisers thanked Oshin’s MBC for providing the venue for the event, which brought together gardening enthusiasts and newcomers alike in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
Participants enjoyed friendly competition, interactive activities and opportunities to expand their knowledge of plant care while connecting with fellow nature lovers.
