Preparations are in full swing for the counting of votes polled in the Dakshina Kannada constituency for the Lok Sabha elections. The counting is scheduled to be held on June 4.
The fate of the nine candidates who contested in the elections held on April 26 is sealed in the EVMs, which are securely placed in the strong room. The EVMs, along with the ballot boxes containing postal votes, have been placed in the strong room at NITK Suratkal amid tight security. The district recorded a 78.02% polling percentage.
