On April 6, Jnana Sudha Educational Trust celebrated the Punarprathishta and Nagamadlotsava of Nagabrahma and Raktheshwari Kshetra at the Jnana Sudha Institution’s Nagabhana Campus in Kadiyali. The event marked a significant milestone for the Trust, which has been worshipping Nagabrahma and Raktheshwari for generations. The renovation of the shrine was carried out by the Trust, alongside local families and residents, under the guidance of Narayan Bhat Renjal.

The ceremonial installation of Nagabrahma, Sri Raktheshwari, and the Naga Brahma Mandala Utsava was performed by Vedamoorthi Ramakrishna Tantry. The religious rituals commenced early at 7 am with Ganapathi Homa and Pratishtha Homa, followed by several sacred ceremonies, including the installation of Sri Nagabrahma and Raktheshwari, Panchamrutha Abhisheka, Kalashabhisheka, Kalpoktha Pooja, and Prasanna Pooja. The rituals concluded with Sarva Prayaschitha Poorvaka Ashlesha Bali, after which the devotees were served theertha prasadam and anna prasadam.

A formal programme followed the morning rituals, graced by the blessings of Sri Sri Vidyasagara Theertha Swamiji of Sri Krishnapura Math. In his speech, Swamiji praised the Jnana Sudha institution for its contribution to shaping students into valuable assets for the nation. He emphasized the importance of divine blessings and service to others, particularly in the field of education, which he described as the greatest form of service. He also highlighted the significance of the serpent god, Subramanya, symbolizing completeness and divine protection.

Dr. Sudhakar Shetty, president of Ajekar Padmagopal Educational Trust, addressed the gathering, sharing the success of the institution in helping 37 students secure MBBS seats the previous year. He credited Swamiji’s guidance and blessings for the institution’s achievements and its commitment to saving lives through education.

The evening’s program featured Bhakti Ghana Vaibhava by Yogish Kini and his team, along with the Kalpoktha Pooja performed by Krishnaprasad Vaidya Mudduru and Balakrishna Vaidya. The Nagamandalotsava was performed by Nataraj Vaidya and his team, along with Vedamoorthi Narayan Bhat Renjala and Nagapatri. Afterward, the devotees were served with anna prasadam.

The event saw a remarkable turnout, with the presence of notable figures including Dr. H S Ballal, Pro Chancellor of MAHE, Manipal, Ujwal Developers’ Purushotham Shetty, Rathnakar Shetty, trustee Vidyavathi Shetty, and other dignitaries, faculty, students, and family members. Smrudhi, a second PUC student, delivered the invocation, and trustee Anil Kumar Jain proposed the vote of thanks, while faculty member Sangeetha Kulal Bola compered the event.
