Mangaluru: Budding literary star Reshel Bretny Fernandes from Mangaluru has been honoured with the prestigious Bharat Shree National Award at a high-profile national conference and summit held at Essentia Luxury Hotel, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
The award was presented by a distinguished panel comprising Lieutenant General B S Sisodiya, Air Marshal Shashiker Choudhary, and Padma Shri awardee Satyendra Singh Lohia, along with other eminent dignitaries.
Organised under the banner of NITI Aayog in association with several central ministries and the Bharat Grow Foundation, the event celebrated excellence in diverse fields, showcasing achievers from across the country.
Fernandes was recognised for her remarkable contribution to literature. Her creative works and accomplishments, achieved at a young age, have earned her recognition at the national level, inspiring peers and young aspirants in the literary domain.
