Mangaluru: As part of the celebrations marking India’s 80th Independence Day, Rohan Corporation has announced “Freedom Palette 2026,” a drawing competition for children below the age of 16 to encourage creativity and patriotism through art.

The competition aims to provide young artists with a platform to showcase their talent while expressing their love for the nation through creative artwork.

Two-round competition

The competition will be conducted in two rounds.

In the first round, participants are required to submit drawings based on the given theme by August 10, 2026. Children may create their artwork either at home or at school and upload it through the registration link available on Rohan Corporation’s official social media pages or by scanning the QR code provided by the organisers.

From all the entries received, 60 outstanding drawings will be shortlisted for the grand finale.

Pixncil has been appointed as the official jury partner for the competition.

Grand finale on August 13

The final round will be held on August 13, 2026, at Rohan City, Bejai, Mangaluru, where shortlisted participants will compete in a live drawing contest.

The theme for the final competition will be announced one day in advance. All art materials required for the competition will be provided by the organisers.

Attractive cash prizes

The competition offers attractive cash rewards:

  • First Prize: ₹25,000
  • Second Prize: ₹15,000
  • Third Prize: ₹10,000

All other finalists will receive consolation prizes in recognition of their creativity and participation.
