On the night of Monday, July 29, heavy rainfall led to the dramatic collapse of a building’s roof near Kottara Chowki, causing substantial damage but fortunately resulting in no injuries or fatalities. The roof fell from the terrace onto the road, damaging an electricity transformer and completely destroying a car.
Mescom officials arrived swiftly to manage the situation and clear the debris, ensuring the safety of the area. The collapse temporarily disrupted traffic as cleanup efforts were underway.
