Prashant Kamat (52), a sales manager at Brite Flex Industrial Unit in Kanjarakatte, near Padubidri, has been reported missing since November 28. Kamat had informed his colleagues that he was heading to the company’s Mangaluru office but has not been seen since.
On the same day, Kamat briefly visited the Kanjarakatte unit but left within five minutes. When company officials reached out to his family, they confirmed that he had not returned home. Kamat, who suffers from diabetes and a heart condition, has not been reachable as his mobile phone is switched off.
He is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark blue shirt. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact the Padubidri police station at 0820-2555452.
