Bantwal: Six members of a family, including four children, escaped with minor injuries after the car they were travelling in overturned near Surikumeru on National Highway 75 on Thursday evening.
The family was reportedly travelling from Mangaluru towards Uppinangady when the accident occurred near a Hindustan Petroleum fuel station at Surikumeru. The vehicle allegedly went out of control and overturned, leaving all six occupants with minor injuries.
Car overturns near fuel station
According to reports, the family was travelling along the highway when the driver allegedly lost control of the car near the fuel station.
The vehicle subsequently overturned on the road, causing concern among other motorists and local residents in the area.
All six occupants, including four children, sustained minor injuries in the accident. However, they escaped without suffering any life-threatening injuries.
