Mangaluru: St Agnes College (Autonomous) celebrated a memorable farewell ceremony for the outgoing batch of 2022–25 on April 12 at the college auditorium, marking a vibrant close to the students’ academic chapter.

The event brimmed with gratitude, reflection, and celebration, as faculty, staff, and students came together to honour the final-year students and their journey over the past three years.

Principal Sr Dr M Venissa AC addressed the gathering with warmth and admiration, applauding the graduating class for their enthusiasm, leadership, and active involvement in both academics and co-curricular initiatives. She recognized their positive contribution to campus life, which enriched the college environment.

She also expressed appreciation to the teaching and non-teaching staff, whose continued support and mentorship helped shape the students’ intellectual and personal growth.

The dignitaries present included PG Coordinator Sr Dr M Vinora AC, Vice Principal Sr Roopa Rodrigues, registrar, deans, HoDs, and faculty members, all of whom extended their blessings and best wishes to the students embarking on new paths.

The farewell was beautifully coordinated by the departments of history, economics, and journalism. Thanmayee Bhatt served as the master of ceremonies. The gathering began with a scripture reading, followed by a welcome address by Serena, a farewell speech by student leaders, and a vote of thanks by Samantha. A thoughtful skit and vibrant cultural performances brought the event to a delightful close.
