Mangaluru— The Kannada film Jungle Mangal had its grand premiere on Wednesday, July 2, at Big Cinemas in Mangaluru, drawing film lovers and dignitaries alike.

Directed by Rakshit Kumar, the movie stars Yash Shetty and Harshitha Ramachandra in the lead roles. Supporting performances come from Ugram Manju and Deepak Rai Panaje. The film has been jointly produced by Prajeeth Hegde, Lakshmi R Rai, Pruthvi Shetty, Manu Shedgar, and Rakshit Kumar under the Sahyadri Studios banner, with Suni Cinemas presenting the project.

The ceremonial launch of the premiere was carried out by Sri Durgananda Swamiji of Shree Shiva Durgamba Mutt. Several notable personalities graced the event, including Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, filmmaker Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, and well-known personalities like Prakash Pandeshwar, Roopesh Shetty, and Ramesh Kandettu, who is the BJP South Mangaluru president.

Prominent Tulu actors Bojaraj Vamanjoor and Prakash Tuminadu, along with Bollywood producer Rajesh Bhat and Jungle Mangal producer Prajeeth Hegde, also attended the occasion, adding glamour and support to the local film industry.

The premiere marked a proud moment for the coastal film fraternity, bringing together artists, spiritual leaders, and cinema enthusiasts to celebrate homegrown talent.
