In a heartbreaking occurrence reported late on Thursday, June 12, a 15-year-old student lost her life after plummeting from the 12th floor of a multi-storey residential tower in Kuthar, within Ullal police jurisdiction.
The victim has been identified as Hiba, daughter of Dr. Mamthaz Ahmad, a medical practitioner. The family resided on the 12th floor of the 18-storey apartment building.
As per preliminary details, the incident took place unexpectedly during the night when Hiba reportedly fell from an upper level, resulting in her immediate death. The exact cause behind the fall is currently unclear and has yet to be confirmed.
Hiba was pursuing her Class 10 education at a private educational institution. The Ullal police have initiated an official inquiry and are actively examining all aspects linked to the tragic fall.
