An early morning accident on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru highway disrupted traffic, though passengers escaped with minor injuries.

A tempo travel (TT) vehicle overturned near Farangipet junction around 6:30 am on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru highway after the driver reportedly lost control. The vehicle, carrying around 10 passengers, climbed onto the divider before overturning. Fortunately, all passengers sustained only minor injuries.

The TT vehicle was transporting stage decoration materials for a wedding in Mangaluru. It belonged to an event owner from Bengaluru, who had undertaken a contract for the wedding’s decorations.

The accident scattered decoration materials across the highway, causing temporary traffic disruption. Panemangaluru traffic police visited the scene to manage the situation and clear the debris.

The exact cause of the accident remains unclear. Preliminary reports suggest that the driver lost control of the vehicle, but further investigation is underway.
