Mangaluru: The lyrical video of Thelikeda Rang, a song from the upcoming Tulu film Bana, has been released on YouTube, offering music lovers a glimpse into the film’s musical world.
The song features the voice of singer Nishan Rai and has been composed and arranged by Jaya Karthi. The lyrics have been penned by Razak Puttur. Bana is written and directed by Nithin Rai Kukkuvalli and produced by Manohar Rai Vaipala.
Tulu-Kannada song features a blend of musical styles
Thelikeda Rang is presented in Tulu and Kannada, with Razak Puttur writing the lyrics. Jaya Karthi has handled the composition, programming and arrangement, while Nishan Rai has lent his voice to the track.
The instrumental arrangements feature contributions from several musicians. Sreerag Radhakrishnan has played the flute, Mani K Suresh has handled Indian percussion and Kiran has played the guitar.
Additional vocals for the song have been rendered by Megha Kotyan, Madhushree, Sakshi and Sathwica, adding further layers to the musical arrangement.
The audio recording was completed at Saptak Studio in Mangaluru, while music production was carried out at Sun Matrix Audio Lab, Mangaluru. The song has been released under the Lahari Music label.
‘Bana’ brings together a regional film team
Bana is being helmed by Nithin Rai Kukkuvalli, who has written and directed the film. Manohar Rai Vaipala is the producer.
Arun Rai Puttur is the cinematographer, while Jaya Karthi has composed the music and original score. Naveen Nerolthadi is the editor and Razak Puttur has written the dialogue and screenplay.
