The Mangaluru Central Crime Branch Police have arrested three individuals for allegedly plotting to rob rich people, traders, and businessmen in the Mukkancheri area of Ullal.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Sameer Ali alias Kadpara Sameer (33) of Mukkancheri, Mansoor alias Boliyat Mansoor (30) of Boliyar, and Naushad (30) of Konaje.
The CCB confiscated a knife, mobile phones, and a jeep, all worth Rs 25.90 lakh, from the possession of the accused. A case has been lodged against them at the Ullal Police Station.
Sameer Ali is involved in a total of seven cases, including attempted murder, life threats at Ullal Police Station, the Ilyas murder case at Mangaluru South Police Station, a shootout case at a Falnir shop, and life threats at Konaje Police Station.
Similarly, Mansoor has been involved in a previous robbery and assault case at Konaje Police Station, a shootout case at Falnir registered at Mangaluru South Police Station, and a drug trafficking case registered at Cyber, Economic, and Narcotics Police Station. Naushad was previously accused in a robbery case at Konaje Police Station.
